Services of Unitube studios and podcasts room

Support, maintenance, and training for Unitube studios and Kaisa's podcast room is provided by the Educational Technology Services video team, which can be reached at edutech@helsinki.fi

Training is available on how to use the studios and produce different types of content in them. There is no on-call service in the studios, so training sessions must be booked in advance.

You can also explore the studio facilities and the opportunities they offer independently with the help of our instructions and virtual tours.

Training in the design and implementation of videos and podcasts

The video team at Educational Technology Services provides training and support for the design and production of videos and podcasts. Training sessions are generally customized to meet the specific needs of the client.

Services for Unitube lecture recording rooms

Unitube lecture recording equipment has been installed in selected  lecture rooms at the University of Helsinki, enabling recordings and live streaming. See the list of rooms and their streaming addresses on the Helpdesk page.

The lecture recording equipment is not remotely scheduled. Instead, the organiser (lecturer) must always start and stop the recording device. See the instructions for Unitube lecture recordings on the Helpdesk page. The university's AV support provides training and technical support for using the technology in the university's lecture rooms.
