The annual report on the University’s sustainability and responsibility efforts has been released, highlighting measures related to research, teaching, public engagement, and daily life.

University rankings affect higher education institutions in many ways, but how reliable are they?

The purpose of the survey is to increase our understanding of students’ study-related goals, priorities and approaches, as well as the significance of digital services as part of studying.

HelsinkiUni Help offers Sisu support via Zoom in May.

The inaugural lectures will be held on Wednesday, 27 May from 14.30 to 16.30 in the University’s Main Building. A livestream will also be available. Come meet & greet your new professors!

The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete. Responses are anonymous, and individual respondents cannot be identified. The survey is open from April 27 to May 11, 2026.

The Student Project Incubator is an in-person programme at Freie Universität Berlin and will run from 21–23 September 2026.

Now is the time to plan for the final teaching period of the academic year! The Language Centre still has a wide variety of language and communication courses on offer.

The brand-new HelsinkiUni Help on-site service points at Viikki and Meilahti are open on weekdays from 9 am to 3 pm. Come and visit! The Kumpula service point will open in early autumn.

The workshops are led by the Language Centre's written communication teacher and library experts in information retrieval and reference management. 

HYY is moving from the New Student House to Domus Gaudium in late spring 2026. The move will also affect the opening hours of HYY’s Services Office.
