Curricula remain valid for three years, as of 1 August 2026 for four years. They are drawn up for all degree programmes and the Language Centre for the periods 2023–2026, 2026–2030, etc.
Decisions on curricula are made by faculty councils on the basis of proposals from degree programme steering groups. The Language Centre’s curriculum design process is overseen by a senior specialist, and the curriculum is approved by the director of the Language Centre. The decisions are made in the autumn term before the curriculum becomes valid.
During their validity period, curricula may receive minor amendments for compelling reasons. The proposed amendments will be discussed by the degree programme steering groups, which may decide to present them to the faculty council. Faculty councils may delegate to degree programme steering groups or the director of the doctoral school decisions on some amendments. For further information on amendments to curricula, see the workgroup area page Process, division of duties and timetable (requires login with University credentials). You can also inquire about the practices of your degree programme from the programme director or education coordinator.
For further information, see the annual teaching planning cycle.
